Before Jesus was born, God was already preparing someone very special to prepare the way: John the Baptist! He was a gift from God to Zechariah and Elizabeth, who were already very old and had never had children. But nothing is impossible for God! An angel appeared to announce that John would be born—and it happened just as God had promised! He grew up and had a very important mission: to announce the coming of Jesus! Now it’s your turn to imagine this very special moment! Create a beautiful drawing of the story of John the Baptist’s birth. You can draw the angel visiting Zechariah, Elizabeth happily holding her baby, or little John in his parents’ arms. Add lots of details and remember: God always keeps His promises and has wonderful plans for each of us!
