God asked Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh and warn the people to stop doing wrong things. But Jonah was afraid and ran away on a ship. During the journey, a great storm came, and Jonah was thrown into the sea. God sent a great fish to swallow Jonah and save him. He spent three days inside the fish, praying and asking for forgiveness. Then, the fish spit him out onto the shore. Jonah then obeyed God and went to Nineveh, and the people repented. God was pleased with this.

This story shows us that God gives us another chance when we make mistakes and that He wants what is best for us. Like Jonah, we can trust that even in difficult situations, God is with us and guides us with love.
